Essentially, yes! Thematically they are all tied to the lore of the Lodge. Though unlike normal escape rooms, it is up to you to explore the Halls of the Lodge to discover and unlock your experience for yourself.

Our investigations can accommodate teams of 2 – 6 players. If you are interested in making a booking for more than 6 people, please reach out to our team and we can assist you.

The Initiation, as well as our other Stay & Play experiences, is not an in-room experience like normal escape rooms.

The Initiation takes place mostly in the Hourglass Cafe with paper puzzles. Some of these puzzles do send you into the halls of the Lodge to look for clues, but there is no heavy puzzling like a traditional escape room experience.

This is meant to be a longer experience where you can sit with a group of friends, enjoy some food and drink, and solve some fun puzzles. In the end, all participants become Lodge Members, complete with their own fancy membership card that will get them a $5 discount on all Investigation experiences (any experience with a dedicated closed-room) going forward.

The length of the Initiation can vary between groups. We usually recommend initiates give themselves about 2-4 hours, depending on how fast they work through the seven tests of the Initiation.

Never.

As escape room enthusiasts we know how much the experience can be dampened by being forced to share it with strangers.

We will never ask your group to play with another group.

We ask that you budget 90 minutes for the full experience just to be safe. Plan to have your group arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your start time for check-in, 45-60 minutes in the escape room, and a few minutes after your escape for a quick debrief. Plus, you may want to grab a snack or drink at the café.

The Lodge is intended as an adult space, and our investigations are designed with adults in mind. We have had many families come and enjoy our investigations with their children, and we are happy to have you and your family here as well! However, if your kids are new to escape rooms or are under the age of 12, we STRONGLY encourage you to check out the experiences designed for kids at our Saint Paul and North Loop Trapped locations here! If you are planning to bring more children than adults to your Lodge experience, please contact us before booking.

Additionally, as this is an adult-oriented space, we try to limit bringing children under the age of 13 after 5pm.

For liability reasons, no homemade food of any kind, including homemade cakes, may be brought into the cafe.

If you would like to bring in a cake for a birthday, it MUST have been made in a commercial kitchen such as from a grocery store or bakery.

Neither the size of your group, nor the method through which you book your experience will affect the price of the tickets.

A group of 2 people will pay the same price per ticket as a group of 6 and booking online will show the same exact prices that you would get if you called or walked in to book.
